DOE NEPA Documents Account Request
Because of the security sensitivity of some information in National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents, the Department of Energy (DOE) is limiting access to certain NEPA documents on this web site. Members of the public cannot access these environmental impact statements and environmental assessments at this time. DOE regrets any inconvenience caused by this decision, which reflects an awareness of the need to protect the public following the September 11th attacks.
DOE will continue to provide hard copies as available of all its NEPA documents to people upon request. If you want to request a particular document, you may do so by e-mail to denise.freeman@hq.doe.gov or by leaving a message on our toll-free information line at 1-800-472-2756. We will direct your request to the responsible DOE office.
Government officials and DOE contractors that are helping DOE prepare NEPA documents may request an account to access NEPA documents on this web site by completing the electronic form below. Please complete all required fields, indicated by an asterisk. We will provide a username and password to new account holders. Please allow several business days to process your account request.
As of August 15, 2008, all account holders must re-apply to receive a new user ID and password.
If you already have an account, you may proceed to DOE NEPA Documents.
